15. Corrupt misinterpretations.<\/span><\/p>\n

16. Misconceptions.<\/span><\/p>\n

17. Not being content with the Salaf\u012b methodology and the clarity and purity it comes with.<\/span><\/p>\n

18. Great concern to draw in and increase the numbers (no matter what).<\/span><\/p>\n

19. Using ‘confronting the enemies of Isl\u0101m’ as an excuse.<\/span><\/p>\n

20. Extreme concern in appeasing the creation (even if it goes against the creator).<\/span><\/p>\n

21. Broadening the means of da’wah even though this affair is tawqeefiyyah (restricted to the texts).<\/span><\/p>\n

22. Over-enthusiasm in seeking to guide those who have gone astray.<\/span><\/p>\n

23. Desiring what is in the hands of the people [of duny\u0101].<\/span><\/p>\n

24. Cowardice and fear.<\/span><\/p>\n

25. Fake\/false piety.<\/span><\/p>\n

26. Deception.<\/span><\/p>\n

27. Having little jealousy for the true religion of All\u0101h.<\/span><\/p>\n

28. Weakness in the affair of wal\u0101 wal bar\u0101 (allegiance and disallegiance).<\/span><\/p>\n

29. Weakness in \u012am\u0101n.<\/span><\/p>\n

30. Seeking the most tolerable solution (as opposed to looking to the solutions given in the Shar\u012b’ah)<\/span><\/p>\n

31. Seeking to draw closer to those who have gone astray.<\/span><\/p>\n

32. Undervaluing (the Salaf\u012b da’wah).<\/span><\/p>\n

33. Weakness in the affair of commanding good and forbidding evil.<\/span><\/p>\n

34. Not implementing knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

35. Flattery.<\/span><\/p>\n

36. Utilising the people of Sunnah and their scholars who profess the truth to fulfill personal agendas.<\/span><\/p>\n

37. Confusion and disorientation.<\/span><\/p>\n

38. Descending upon the partisans and the innovators.<\/span><\/p>\n

39. Their claim that they want to begin with the most important matter first before moving on to matters of lesser importance.<\/span><\/p>\n

40. They call to showing mercy, affection and having a clean heart towards Muslims (no matter what).<\/span><\/p>\n

41. Pretending to aid the Sunnah.<\/span><\/p>\n

42. Bootlicking.<\/span><\/p>\n

43. Absence of clarity.<\/span><\/p>\n

44. Using knowledge as a means of seeking livelihood.<\/span><\/p>\n

45. Misinterpretating the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

46. Carelessness & negligence.<\/span><\/p>\n

47. Not taking the advice of the firm and distinguished scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

48. Discrediting the understanding of the scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

49. Following desires and lack of devotion in adhering to the evidences.<\/span><\/p>\n

50. The nature of a person.<\/span><\/p>\n

51. Doubting the truth he is upon.<\/span><\/p>\n

53. Lack of patience upon steadfastness.<\/span><\/p>\n

53. Being ignorant of the people of falsehood and their false beliefs.<\/span><\/p>\n

54. Mis-conceptualising falsehood.<\/span><\/p>\n

55. Promotion of falsehood from a highly regarded scholar.<\/span><\/p>\n

56. The people of falsehood ascribing themselves to a well-respected figure.<\/span><\/p>\n

57. Negligence of the people of truth in warning against Tamy\u012b’ as well as other forms of falsehood.<\/span><\/p>\n

58. The belief of the deviant mumayyi’ that he is upon the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

59. Arrogance.<\/span><\/p>\n

60. self amazement.<\/span><\/p>\n

61. Envy.<\/span><\/p>\n

62. Being negligent in seeking the truth and accepting it.<\/span><\/p>\n

63. Believing that the truth is unclear and confusing.<\/span><\/p>\n

64. The callers to the truth not being fluent\/eloquent in their call.<\/span><\/p>\n

65. Blameworthy disputes and argument, and love of fame and dominance.<\/span><\/p>\n

66. Bigotry to one’s forefathers, grandfathers, brothers and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

67. Political and sociological factors.<\/span><\/p>\n

68. Persistence in clinging to mistakes and lack of retraction after realising the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

69. Flattery and bootlicking with those who are close and those not so close.<\/span><\/p>\n

70. Spread of refutations from the blind followers of the madh-habs as well as the partisans of those principles which go against their desires and their wrong practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

71. Not referring differences back to the methodology of the Salaf<\/span><\/p>\n

72. Confusing between someone’s opinion and what is actually a part of the religion.<\/span><\/p>\n

73. Following the mistakes of the scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

74. Exploiting the silence of the scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

75. Adopting the principles of the people of innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

76. Corrupt analogy.<\/span><\/p>\n

77. Following ambiguous evidences without reconciling between them.<\/span><\/p>\n

78. Negligence in asking All\u0101h \ufdfb for guidance.<\/span><\/p>\n

79. Extremism.<\/span><\/p>\n

80. How people interact with the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

81. Being content with having little knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

82. Delving into Rhetoric & philosophy.<\/span><\/p>\n

83. Accepting some of the truth and leaving off some.<\/span><\/p>\n

84. Learning and taking knowledge from unreliable sources; books or scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

85. Societal factors & personal upbringing.<\/span><\/p>\n

86. Referring matters to other than their rightful people.<\/span><\/p>\n

87. Taking beneficial knowledge from the A\u1e63\u0101ghir [the innovators \/ those not firmly rooted in knowledge].<\/span><\/p>\n

88. Pre-Islamic fanaticsm (racism, tribalism, etc)<\/span><\/p>\n

89. Laxness in cultivating the youngsters.<\/span><\/p>\n

90. Giving precedence to the intellect over the revelation.<\/span><\/p>\n

91. Acting by the apparent meanings of the texts without referring them back to the explanations given by the Messenger of All\u0101h \ufdfa and his companions.<\/span><\/p>\n

92. Following assumptions.<\/span><\/p>\n

93. The innovator’s use of deceptive ploys \/ loopholes.<\/span><\/p>\n

94. Dividing the religion into an outer and inner core, or principles and subsidiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

95. Following strange statements\/ views.<\/span><\/p>\n

96. The innovator’s concern on secondary matters as opposed to primary matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

97. Turning away from the Qur’\u0101n and the Sunnah by not learning and acting by them.<\/span><\/p>\n

98. Poverty.<\/span><\/p>\n

99. The presence of many innovators within Isl\u0101m.<\/span><\/p>\n

100. Inclining towards the misguided ones on the pretext that their intentions are good.<\/span><\/p>\n

101. Lethargy.<\/span><\/p>\n

102. Sins and disobedience.<\/span><\/p>\n

103. Listening to one’s own evil thoughts.<\/span><\/p>\n

104. Listening to the whispers of the devil.<\/span><\/p>\n

105. The person himself being unsuited to following the Sunnah.<\/span><\/p>\n

106. Lying.<\/span><\/p>\n

107. Weak determination.<\/span><\/p>\n

108. Not refutating those who oppose the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

109. Charity organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

110. Multitude of groups & sects.<\/span><\/p>\n

111. Not looking to the aftermath.<\/span><\/p>\n

112. Not answering All\u0101h \ufdfb and His Messenger \ufdfa’s call immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n

113. The people of innovation engaging in their innovations publicly.<\/span><\/p>\n

114. Secrecy.<\/span><\/p>\n

115. Advocating tamy\u012b’ by destroying the principles of disparagment which the Salaf were upon; such as:<\/span><\/p>\n

a. Their saying: we correct without disparaging, or: we correct without destroying.<\/span><\/p>\n

b. We mustn’t allow our differing over others lead to a differing amongst ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

c. Their saying: boycotting the innovators varies depending on time, and we must assess the benefits before boycotting the innovators.<\/span><\/p>\n

d. From their false principles is, rejecting the report of trustworthy individuals and casting doubts regarding them.<\/span><\/p>\n

e. Cancelling out the manhaj of testing the people.<\/span><\/p>\n

f. From their principles: We do not accept a disparagment unless everyone is in agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

g. From their principles is, rejecting detailed disparagment.<\/span><\/p>\n

h. Their saying: disparagement between compatriots must be ignored and not reported.<\/span><\/p>\n

i. Blindfollowing in the affair of disparagment and appraisals (Al-jar\u1e25 wa At-ta’d\u012bl)<\/span><\/p>\n

j. Promoting the issue of Muw\u0101zahah by mentioning good together with the evils of an individual.<\/span><\/p>\n

116. Not returning affairs back to the well established scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

117. Estrangement of the people of Sunnah.<\/span><\/p>\n

118. Paying no attention to errors in Manhaj if the ‘Aq\u012bdah is sound.<\/span><\/p>\n

119. Being sentimental.<\/span><\/p>\n

120. Imitating the idolators.<\/span><\/p>\n

121. Partiality of the students of knowledge and callers.<\/span><\/p>\n

122. Presence of Spies.<\/span><\/p>\n

123. Disillusioned scholars degrading the upright, devoted scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

124. Attending free-mixed universities and schools run by innovators as well as language Institutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

125. Relying on weak or fabricated \u1e25ad\u012bth.<\/span><\/p>\n

126. Taking up authorship although unskilled to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n

127. People of falsehood defaming the sunn\u012b scholars and attacking its callers whilst acclaiming the scholars of innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

128. The callers of tamay\u012b’ pretending to be people of knowledge and understanding.<\/span><\/p>\n

129. Being deceived with titles as opposed to looking to the reality of those behind those titles.<\/span><\/p>\n

130. The fundamental principles which the people of tamay\u012b hold firmly onto, and which leads them to tamy\u012b’:<\/span><\/p>\n

a. Going overboard in the principle of “hardship necessitates ease.”<\/span><\/p>\n

b. Going overboard in the principle of “warding off harm takes precedence over bringing about good”.<\/span><\/p>\n

c. Going overboard in the criterion of compulsion.<\/span><\/p>\n

d. Going overboard in the principle of “necessity”.<\/span><\/p>\n

e. Their saying: There is no critisim in the affairs of ijtih\u0101d.<\/span><\/p>\n

f. Matters are judged according to their objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n

g. Their disregard for the principle of “blocking off all that may lead to sin”<\/span><\/p>\n

h. Harm must be eliminated.<\/span><\/p>\n

i. The principle: The ends justify the means<\/span><\/p>\n

j. Applying discretion in legal matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

k. Unspecified public interests.<\/span><\/p>\n

l. Their statement: every mujtahid is correct in his deduction.<\/span><\/p>\n

m. Their saying: we reject what opposes the accepted principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

n. Giving precedence to corrupt opinions over the evidences.<\/span><\/p>\n

o. Their tamy\u012b’ in referring incorrect\/general statement’s of infallible individuals back to their correct statements on the same topic – (Haml al-mujmal ‘ala Al-mufassal)<\/span><\/p>\n

p. Their saying that, \u0100h\u0101d(4) reports are insufficient in establishing a matter.<\/span><\/p>\n

q. Their statement: we are men and they [the sah\u0101bah] are men.<\/span><\/p>\n

r. Their statement: customs prevail over every other rule.<\/span><\/p>\n

a. New world order.<\/span><\/p>\n

b. Their claim that, “Religion is the opium of the people.”<\/span><\/p>\n

c. Their call to Universal Liberty.<\/span><\/p>\n

d. Their call to enlightenment and education.<\/span><\/p>\n

e. Their call to religious tolerance.<\/span><\/p>\n

f. Their call to the evolvement & progression of the religion.<\/span><\/p>\n

g. Their call to (adapting the religion to match) contemporary trends.<\/span><\/p>\n

h. Their saying, modernisation of religious rhetoric.<\/span><\/p>\n

i. Their saying, respecting and honoring all religions.<\/span><\/p>\n

j. Their statement that: Some (Islamic) rulings need to be revised.<\/span><\/p>\n

k. Their saying, religious liberty.<\/span><\/p>\n

l. Their reference to Christianity and Judaism as being heavenly \/ divine religions.<\/span><\/p>\n

m. Their call to (social) normalisation.<\/span><\/p>\n

n. Their saying that: the religion is for All\u0101h, but the country is for all.<\/span><\/p>\n
